Standard Register Federal Credit Union is committed to protecting the privacy of our members. Members and the general public can visit us on the World Wide Web without disclosing who they are or revealing any information about themselves. There are some instances, however, that involve collecting certain information about a member:

• If a member visits our web site, the Credit Union collects and stores information about the domain the member used to access our web site, the Internet address of the site from which the member linked directly to our site, and the date and time of the member's visit. The Credit Union uses this information to measure the number of visitors to various web site pages and hence better serve our membership.
• If a member sends an e-mail, the Credit Union collects and stores personally-identifying information in order to process that member's e-mail. This information is used internally and is NOT sold to any third parties. At the conclusion of the process, these messages are deleted upon being answered or completed.
• If a member enters a secure site to submit an application or check re-order, he/she will be asked for personal information such as name and address. In the case of the online loan application, he/she will be asked to provide financial information as well. All data submitted by a member is stored safely behind a firewall, which protects it against unauthorized access. In addition, this information is encrypted while in it is being transmitted across the Internet.
• If a member links to another web site from any of our pages, he/she is leaving our site and we cannot be held responsible for any information that may be gathered at a linked site. We make every effort, however, to ensure that all linked sites follow privacy policies similar to ours.
