A credit union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by its customers, or members. Credit Unions offer the same services as other financial institutions, including savings and checking accounts, various types of loan, Automated Teller Machine (ATM) card, and credit cards.

How do I join Standard Register Federal Credit Union?
Just visit the "Applications" page of this web site, and click where it says "Membership Enrollment". You can complete your enrollment form and submit it online! What could be simpler?
After we've processed your membership application, we'll send you your member ID card with your assigned member number.

How are Credit Union different from other financial institutions?
Unlike most financial institutions, which exist to make a profit, Credit Unions exist to serve members. Any profits generated are returned to the members in the form of dividends.

Can anyone join SRFCU?
No. Membership is restricted to employees of certain select companies (the largest of which is Standard Register), and individuals who live, work, attend school, or worship within the community immediately surrounding our Dayton office (about a 1.5 mile radius). Any person of the immediate family or household of current members may also join.

Are my funds safe at SRFCU?
Absolutely. Your funds are both federally AND privately insured for up to $350,000 per member.

Are there any membership dues or fees?
No. However, each member must maintain a minimum balance of $5.00 in his/her Regular Savings Account.

As long as you'd like! Our philosophy is "Once a member, always a member".

What if I retire, move, or take a job with another company?
Because of our lifetime membership policy, you will still be a member. No matter where you relocate, you can continue to access any of our services via toll-free telephone and fax numbers, "Magic"Line (24 hour member service telephone line), or "CU Online" (24/7 online account access).
